News From Around The World

We had the honour of partnering with Jackalope Fest for the 6th year whereby we sponsored 20 youth and 2 World Cup Skateboarders Men's Division. We had the most exciting time and all the children went home with great memories. Some even got a private meeting with Tony Hawk. Seen here is the illustrious Dave Duncan, World Cup Skateboarding Annoumcer and Pierre Berube, Montreal's favourite sports announcer. See you at JACKALOPEFEST 2018! (Photo by M.I.L.K. Images)

How would you like to skate the vert ramp Tony Hawk skated at Jackalope fest? You'll have to wait until 2018 but we are super stoked for Raph Cadieux who at 11 years old ripped the ramp up to shreds and made grown men cry. This kid is already a pro. We are so proud of our little Ambassador. Skateboards For Hope has many talented skateboarders who are clearly putting Quebec on the map. (Photo by M.I.L.K. Images)

Oceane Dube is only 8 years and has been skateboarding for 8 months. She wowed the crowd with her very raw and unique style. She is certainly in her element and the latest recruit in our Skateboards For Hope crew. Watch for her, she is going to rip some ramps to shred to your enjoyment. (Photo by M.I.L.K. Images)

We always hear about how cities across North America and even in Europe give out fines for skating near or on monuments. What if we told you that in Havana, Cuba some monuments are actually the only skateparks available to Cuban skaters. We spent the day shooting about 60 skateboarders at Jose Gomez Monument and it was epic! Lots of skin was left on this old concrete. Photo by Betty Esperanza.
